The School Education Act 1999 required a student of compulsory age to regularly attend a registered school or an approved educational program. Students may be absent from school for reasons such as illness, religious/cultural ceremonies or any other reason considered acceptable by the Principal.
It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that their child/ren regularly attends school and to inform the Principal within three school days as to the cause of the absence. To notify the school of your child’s absence, please use the below methods:

8:50am – Morning Bell
11:00am – Lunch
11:45am – Classes Resume
1:45pm – Recess
2:05pm – Classes Resume
3:05pm – Dismissal
Arriving Late / Leaving Early
- When students arrive after 8:50am, they must sign in through the front office.
- If parents need to withdraw students during the day please attend the front office first to request a permission slip to release their child from class.
Student Absences
When a student is absent for any reason, a reason must be provided to the school. You can notify us via phone, email or by our preferred method; submitting an Absence on Compass.
